Every CO2 supplier we could find in the New Orleans area (Louisiana) was checked one by one, and 10 of them made the list. 2 will refill the cylinder you walk in with, so you keep the tank you own. 8 would not confirm either way, so those are marked call to confirm rather than guessed at. 2 confirm food grade CO2 for anything you actually drink; most cover industrial, welding, beverage.

Current BBB, Waze, and federal carrier records verify the active Metairie business, address, phone, and gas operations. A current local business listing explicitly states that Marse pumps and fills customer gas tanks on site with CO2 and offers walk-in service. No reliable public email, food-grade designation, or supported refill sizes were verified. Additional service evidence: https://www.yellowpages.com/metairie-la/mip/marse-welding-supplies-2579295

Hours 24/7 technical and field service
Official current technical-services page explicitly confirms recharging and hydrostatic testing of CO2 cylinders and 24/7 technical and field service. Official contact page verifies the New Orleans headquarters, phone, and email. Included despite fire-protection focus because current CO2 cylinder recharge service is explicit. Food-grade status and cylinder sizes were not established.
Official current site verifies the New Orleans location, phone, email, and hours and calls New Age a major CO2 supplier with an on-site filler. It explicitly labels its service BEVERAGE GRADE GAS and lists CO2. The public evidence does not clearly establish whether customer-owned portable cylinders are filled and returned, so service_type and accepts_customer_tanks remain unknown.
A current NuCO2 job posting updated February 27, 2026 identifies the physical New Orleans depot at this Kenner address and describes CO2 high-pressure cylinder work. NuCO2's current official site confirms it distributes only certified beverage-grade CO2 and publishes the corporate customer-service email and 24/7 support number. Public walk-in portable-cylinder refill versus exchange behavior and local depot hours were not established. Official current branch page verifies the exact location, phone, branch-specific email, regular weekday hours, and says products and services may include carbon dioxide, cylinder returns, and tank exchanges. Because the page does not explicitly tie CO2 to a specific refill or exchange workflow, service_type remains unknown rather than inferred.
Official current branch page verifies the exact location, phone, branch-specific email, regular weekday hours, and carbon dioxide availability. The branch page does not establish whether portable CO2 cylinders are same-cylinder refilled versus exchanged, nor food-grade status or supported sizes.

Official current branch page verifies the exact Belle Chasse retail gas location, phone, and hours. The same official Linde store environment lists Carbon Dioxide in its gases catalog. The email is Linde's official corporate customer-contact email, not branch-specific. Portable CO2 refill versus exchange behavior, food-grade status, and supported cylinder sizes were not established.
Official current branch page verifies the Covington retail showroom, address, phone, and hours. WESCO's current official gas catalog explicitly lists Carbon Dioxide among its industrial and bulk gases and identifies Covington as one of its stores. A current industry member listing independently verifies the exact Covington branch. Public evidence does not establish same-cylinder refill versus exchange, food-grade status, supported portable sizes, or a reliable customer-service email.
